Torreira arrives and Arsenal are getting better every day

There is nothing but good news for Arsenal fans every day, and it could be that the two final pieces of our improving squad have finally joined up with the Gunners, with the news that both Lucas Torreira and Stephan Lichtsteiner joined in their first training sessions yesterday.

They may be a little behind the players that have been with Emery since the start of pre-season, but they can only improve a team that is looking more and more comfortable in every game. Hector Bellerin believes that there has been nothing but positives to take from our tour of Singapore. He told Arsenal.com: “As I said the other day, it’s all about learning the new system, about getting used to each other again and used to the new players,”

“It felt like things were clicking more today. Slowly we are coming more together – training every day with the new concepts we have is working better.”

“It’s amazing to see all the love and support we get from people in Asia and here in Singapore,”

“I’m very happy with training and the attitude of the young players as well, who are coming through and taking their chances. It was a very good trip for everyone.”

Everything is looking positive, and Emery still has another 12 days to hone the squad for the visit of Champions Man City to the Emirates. He is aiming to have the team at their peak to give Pep Guardiola’s side a shock in their first defence of the title.

Some people come here to call arsenal fans the worst set of supporters that are filled with disgrace and they ask.. Where has the class gone??….. The class left when wenger and the board started disrespecting us and taking our class and patience for granted..it was time to rise up and save the future of our club even it meant dropping our CLASS.. would you call fans like Jon Fox and the rest who wanted Wenger out CLASSLESS…just because they wanted to save the future of our great club… Wenger took our class away from us and it is left to Emery to restore it…. You think it is easy to see your team getting bashed 5-0,10-2,6-0,6-1 every season and you remain classy and patient about it… NO WAY!!…. bet me even Liverpool fans won’t take that……..i know our CLASS will return because it didn’t go far away…Arsenal fans are born with CLASS we didn’t buy it and so it would always be with us….. PROUD TO BE A GOONER!!
