The 20-year-old England under-20 forward has joined the Italian side's 'B' team.

The striker played for both Preston and Charlton on loan last season but follows a growing number of young British stars moving abroad.

A string of prospects have decided to move away from England, with Jadon Sancho’s switch from Manchester City to Dortmund the most eye-catching.

Mavididi has played for England at youth level right up to the under-20s but has yet to feature in Arsenal's senior team.

His spell at Charlton last term was his second at the club and he scored twice, including a wonder goal against Oldham in January.
