The Citizens are only fourth in the league following a shock draw at Wolves, but on the whole they continue to impress, and they have had the most shots of any club by far. Barcelona Director Braida sends Pogba transfer message to Manchester United

Barcelona director Ariedo Braida has all-but ruled out a move for Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
Despite the fact he has been named Captain of United and the fact he has just won the world cup with France, there has been some speculation over the last few days that Pogba is willing to jump ship and join Barca in La Liga.

Pogba is one of the biggest players at United and one of the most important, when he is one form. But he has failed to live upto expectations since his move back to Manchester and Jose Mourinho is not the only man associated with the club that is not impressed.

And it has been claimed that Mourinho would be willing to sell Pogba to Barca to get him out of his hair, and also to raise some funds for a few signings in the January transfer window.

But Braida admitted that Barca will probably not be making a move for Pogba this month, telling Spanish radio: “I don’t think we’re going to move for Pogba, but he’s a great player.”

Pogba fuelled the flames over his future after Friday night’s win over Leicester, saying he would get in trouble if he revealed what went on behind the scenes.

United cannot afford to lose a big player like Pogba with Mourinho doing such little transfer business in the summer, as who would be the immediate replacement for the Frenchman?

It would not only be a silly business mistake, but one that could cost United the chance of any silverware and Pogba on his day is simply world class.
