The Citizens are only fourth in the league following a shock draw at Wolves, but on the whole they continue to impress, and they have had the most shots of any club by far. Pep Guardiola’s men have pulled the trigger 91 times - resulting in a league-high 11 goals so far. The three teams above City in the actual table are Chelsea, Liverpool and Watford. Chelsea legend Dennis Wise drops bomb on future of superstar Eden Hazard

Chelsea legend Dennis Wise has claimed star man Eden Hazard wants to stay at Stamford Bridge, despite links with Real Madrid.
The little Belgian superstar has been in the transfer headlines all summer with rumours Madrid were desperate for him to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo, who is now over in Serie A with Champions Juventus.

And it seemed Hazard would be moving to the Bernabeu after the World Cup after he announced that he is now ready for a fresh challenge after six very successful years with Chelsea.

But boss Maurizio Sarri did not want to lose his star man this summer and convinced Hazard to stay on for another year, to help the club get back into the Champions League, and possibly challenge for the Premier League title.

And Wise is convinced Hazard will stick with Chelsea, where he spent 11 years during his own playing career.

“I think he’ll stay I really do,” Wise told beIN SPORTS.
“He’s important to Chelsea and the fans as well he’s important to the team as he is a player of exceptional ability.
“You want to keep those type of players so fingers crossed nothing happens.
“I think he’s quite loyal and I think he wants to stay at Chelsea, I really do.”

Here is what we think.

Hazard is one of the best three players in world football right now and could easily fill the void left by Ronaldo at Madrid, but with two years to run on his current deal Chelsea were never going to sell this summer unless they had a replacement lined up, and they didn’t.

However, he is a very loyal player that will give his all for the clubs cause this season, but come next summer it would be a massive surprise to still see him as a Chelsea player, as his mind I snow firmly set.
