MANCHESTER UNITED manager Jose Mourinho provided the perfect response to Cristiano Ronaldo’s goalless Juventus start in his pre-match press conference.

Cristiano Ronaldo was expected to set Serie A alight when he moved from Real Madrid over the summer.

But he has failed to find the back of the net in all three of the Old Lady’s opening matches.

Jose Mourinho managed the Portuguese legend during his time at Madrid and leapt to the defence of him yesterday.

Before Ronaldo’s latest goalless match against Parma, Mourinho was asked: “Is Ronaldo still a top player?”

The Red Devils manager responded: “Yes, of course.

“Unless he doesn’t score in two weeks then you say he’s not a good player anymore.”

More than 45,000 fans have seen the video since it was posted yesterday.
