Lyon president claims Everton target Yerry Mina "very interested" in joining French club





Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas claims Yerry Mina remains "very interested" in joining the French club.

Mina has been a long-standing target for Everton this summer but negotiations with Barcelona have proved difficult with the clubs apart on asking price.

Reports from Spain overnight said a deal had been struck between the Spanish giants and the Blues but they were incorrect.

And now Lyon chief Aulas has responded to those reports on Twitter by describing them as inaccurate and insisting Mina is still keen on a move to Ligue 1.

"I do not think (this) information is accurate," he wrote on social media.
