PSV sign Sainsbury and want Chelsea’s Aina



PSV Eindhoven are interested in Chelsea youngster Ola Aina and have confirmed the signing of Trent Sainsbury, who was wanted by QPR.

West London Sport recently revealed that QPR were looking to secure a deal to sign Australia defender Sainsbury and later also revealed that PSV had shown an interest, leading Rangers to look at other possible signings, including Huddersfield’s Michael Hefele.

Sainsbury moved after terminating his contract with Chinese club Jiangsu Suning.

He was keen to stay in Europe, having ended last season on loan at Swiss club Grasshoppers. He was previously on loan at Inter Milan.

A friend and international team-mate of QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo, Sainsbury, 26, featured in the recent World Cup.

Defender Aina, 21, has attracted interest from several clubs in the Championship – including QPR – and in Italy.

PSV want to take him to the Netherlands on loan.

Aina has made six first-team appearances for Chelsea and spent last season on loan at Hull City.
